A heritage running model originally released during the 90s, the Mizuno Beams x Sky Medal 'KAZOKU' sneaker is a collaborative design created by Japanese retailer, Beams. Released in October 2018, the classic Sky Medal silhouette received a color block scheme makeover on a leather and mesh upper. The predominantly white build sports mesh underlays and teal accents throughout, including the signature Runbird logo along the lateral. A debossed Beams script logo and ‘rising sun’ graphic on the tongue nod to its Japanese origins.
